Ann Marie Tremblay, M.M Ed With a keen interest in music’s healing and restorative qualities, Ann Marie Tremblay began her studies in Music as a voice and piano double major, attaining a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Ann Marie worked as a Music Therapist at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas upon graduation. Missing both New England and the stage, Ann Marie completed her Music Education certification at Boston University and continued with a Masters in Music Education at The Boston Conservatory. Choral Music quickly became her passion as she served as Choral Director in the Medfield Pubic Schools, Wellesley High School, and most recently at Nipmuc Regional High School. Ann Marie has served as a Southeast District Vocal Adjudicator, as the MICCA Choral Festival Chair, Housing Manager for the All-State Music Festival, and has traveled extensively with all of her ensembles both in the Northeast and in Germany and Austria. Her performing groups have sung at the Hatchshell on the Espanade, at Symphony Hall and the renowned Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood. Ann Marie currently sings with the Heritage Chorale in Framingham, Massachusetts and continues to maintain a private voice and piano studio in her home for the past 15 years. This year marks an exciting return to the Medfield Public Schools where she began her teaching career twenty years ago. She is looking forward to working alongside some former colleagues and to happily hang her hat in Medfield once again. Ann Marie finds great joy in coming home each day to her husband, Bob, and their three children Benjamin, Madeline, and Samuel (and her dog Dusty too.)
